An excellent location, right across the street from the river, with easy walking access to all of the areas we wanted to see. The elevator was a welcome feature (because it was early in our trip and our bags weighed a lot; normally we put worn clothes in a separate bag and leave it in the car). Friendly staff, nicely decorated, good breakfast, and upon check-in we were offered a room with a river view instead of the slightly bigger room we had booked without the view. So, we save money and had a view (such thoughtfulness of the staff is much appreciated!) Nearby parking for our car. This place is really an excellent choice if you're visiting Wurzburg. As we strolled from the big fortress across the old bridge back to the hotel, there were people gathered enjoying the evening, a musician playing, and the statues on the bridge itself seemed to be smiling. Vielen Dank! Herrliches Hotel haben ein zwischen stopp gemacht vom Flughafen nach Hause es wart entspannend aus der A 7 rauszukommen !. Hatten eine gute Zeit unser Urlaub in Puebla Mexico nach zu Erzählen! Auch ein Kompliment nachträglich an unser Ferienhaus Vulkanhaus in Puebla!

We had another lovely visit at the Hotel Alter Kränen in Dezember. Even though we did not have a river view, a table was reserved for us at Frühstück looking over the river. We brought my husbands cousin and they were very pleased. This is where we go when we come to Würzburg. Vielen Dank
